Lashing out at the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif-led federal government, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said on Sunday that the country could not make any progress until the incumbent rulers were sent to jail.

“Unless the rulers are put behind bars, there is no future for the people of Pakistan,” Khan said while addressing a party rally in Abbottabad.

“Corruption is the biggest hurdle in Pakistan’s development,” he remarked.

“It is essential to bring Pakistan on the path of development and prosperity that the corrupt rulers are held accountable for their misdeed,”  he added.
